Going back to Clemson

Junior cornerback David Kamara has picked up offers. When he's back in Clemson on Monday with his highly recruited teammate, might he pick up another?

An offer from the Tigers could be handed to the 5-foot-11, 183-pound prospect from Grayson High School [Loganville, Ga.] when he arrives for Monday's practice.

"I've been talking to coach [Jeff] Scott and coach [Tony] Elliott. I'm going back up there on Monday to talk to them, so I feel good," Kamara said in an interview with CUTigers.

Robert Nkemdiche, his close friend, teammate, and the No. 1 player in the class of 2013 will be in town, too. They visited earlier this month on Junior Day.

That was the first Tigertown experience for Kamara, and it was a positive one.

"It was real good. We got to walk around the campus, look at the stadium. We looked at the academics and stuff like that," he said. "I got to talk to coach Swinney. I liked it up there. It's like a big family and everything. I like coach Swinney. He's a real good guy. He looks after his players, even after college."

Kamara added, "I really loved the weight room and everything about it. I like the hill, touching the rock and coming down before games. I really like that."

Mississippi and Mississippi State have also offered. Arkansas and Florida are also taking a look.

Kamara will trip to LSU and Vanderbilt later this month.

As a junior, he had 53 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles.
