Tigers offer Georgia CB

While in town for the second-time this month, Grayson High School cornerback David Kamara picked up an offer from Clemson.

The junior from Loganville, Ga. was offered by Dabo Swinney shortly after he arrived to Clemson on Monday with teammate Robert Nkemdiche.

"It was good, it feels real good," Kamara told CUTigers on Monday. "I was in coach Swinney's office when he told me."

They got in town around 2 o'clock that afternoon, had lunch and were around the team as they got ready for practice then hit the fields.

"It was cool, kind of chill," Kamara said.

He enjoyed watching defensive coordinator Brent Venables and defensive backs coach Charlie Harbison go to work on the practice fields.

"I like coach Cheese a lot. He's real cool. He's real hands on with the players. He just tries to keep their spirits up. I like that," Kamara said.

As for Venables?

"I talked to him for a little bit when I went to go watch the team meeting. I talked to him for a bit, said what's up," Kamara said.

Kamara added, "We were just talked for a few minutes. He's happy to have me back [for a visit]. He likes me."

As a junior, he had 53 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles.
