Georgia WR considering Clemson

This three-star wide receiver from Georgia had scheduled a visit to Clemson last Saturday to watch the Tigers' spring practice.

WR Juwaan Williams Profile

Tucker High School junior Juwaan Williams would have made his first trip to Clemson had he not taken the SAT.

"It's only an hour and a half trip from me, so it's definitely possible that I will be up there in the near future," he told CUTigers earlier this week.

Williams may visit Florida State in April and Vanderbilt in May or June.

Georgia Tech has offered him as a quarterback. Louisville and South Carolina like him as a defensive back. Clemson, East Carolina, Florida State, Kentucky, Michigan State, Ole Miss, UCF and Wake Forest have offered him to play wide receiver.

Wide receiver would "probably" be his first position choice.

"My two leaders, at this time, would be Georgia Tech and Vandy," Williams said.

He added, "On the visits to Georgia Tech and Vandy, I just felt really welcomed there. When I talked to the coaches, some of the players, even support staff, they told me what a great place it is.

"All the coaches are real down-to-earth and keep everything real with you. They don't try to stretch the truth. All the coaches were genuinely friendly. I was welcomed both times I went to Georgia Tech and when I went up to Vanderbilt."

There is no specific timeline for a decision.
