The Champagnat Catholic School of Hialeah [Florida] teammates were joined by fellow junior Glen Bethel, an offensive tackle.

"It was good," Williams told CUTigers earlier this week. "I got a chance to watch them practice. It was good to see them practice. I got to tour the school. I got to see the academic side of the school. That was great. I think it's a great school, academic-wise. It was great."

The group also made a stop in Columbia, to tour the South Carolina campus.

"It was a great. It was a fun experience. I got a chance to hang out with the players. I got a chance to watch them practice. That was a lot of fun," Williams said. "I got a chance to see the academic side of South Carolina. I got to see where the schools were. I thought that was pretty good."

The Gamecocks offered Williams during the visit. Since then, Illinois and South Florida have jumped into the mix. He also holds offers from Louisville, Purdue, Bowling Green, UMass, Western Kentucky and Bethune-Cookman.

"I don't really have much of a list right now," Williams said.

What's next?

"I'm going to a 7-on-7 this weekend at IMG. On the way up there, we're going to swing past USF and see up there."

As a junior, Williams had 40 tackles. He scored 21 touchdowns as Champagnat Catholic's quarterback.
