Sturdivant's offer list has grown to 3 as he now has full scholarship offers from Virginia Tech, Penn State and Syracuse. Expect that list to grow quickly over the next few weeks as coaches from Clemson, North Carolina State, North Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame are showing a great deal of interest in this prize recruit.

Sturdivant has no leader at this point and he expects to take all of his visits before making a commitment. " I'm still wide open," said Sturdivant.

Coach Blackwell is handling the recruiting duties for this speedster. "I have not met coach Blackwell but I receive a lot of mail from him. I am very interested in Clemson."

What factors will Sturdivant consider when decided where to play his college ball? "I will look at academics, playing time, and how I will get along with the coaches. I want to major in physical therapy or computer engineering."

Location will not be a factor for this outstanding prospect. "Distance doesn't matter," stated Sturdivant.

Sturdivant just returned from camping at Penn State and he came away impressed. "The camp was fine. They want me to play linebacker or strong safety. As long as I can play defense." The Virginia star also plans to attend a one day camp at Virginia Tech this summer.

We will continue to keep you posted on this outstanding defensive prospect from Virginia, right up through signing day 2004. Top Stories
