DE Isaac Rochell Profile
The Eagles Landing Christian Academy junior has visited Florida, Georgia and Notre Dame in recent weeks.
"I'm probably going to go to Clemson's spring game," Rochell he said in an interview with CUTigers.
Rochell, who claims over 20 offers, named Notre Dame as his No. 1 school.
"After that, there's really no order," he said. "It would be Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Tennessee and Georgia. Those are the schools that I'm seriously looking at."
What stands out about the Irish?
"They went 8-5 the last few years. The football program is getting better. When they had the previous coach, they did not do well…academically, if you're a regular student and you want to go there, it's like a $50,000 education. When you truly get down to the nitty-gritty of the academics, a Notre Dame degree can go pretty far."
Rochell wanted to commit before his senior season. But that's changed.
"I want to take my officials. That's really it. I'm probably going to take my officials really early…this year, instead of just going to game, I'll probably take officials to games," he said. "I'll probably take an official to Florida. I'll probably take one to Clemson."
Notre Dame and Ohio State were listed as other potential official visit destinations.
"After I take my officials, I'll probably commit. At that point, I'll know for sure," Rochell said.
