Top Pennslyvania QB Favoring Clemson

The recruiting momentum for David Blackwell and his staff continues to build as the Tigers appear to hold the edge for one of the top signal callers in Pennslyvania in Jordan Steffy. Steffy visited Tiger Town last week and came away very impressed.

"Right now, we are in Tennessee on the way up to Indiana to visit with them, but this has been a very busy trip," says the 6-foot-2, 210 pounder. "We already visited Virginia Tech, Virginia, North Carolina, Duke, and Clemson."

Both of those schools have offered Steffy, who has plenty of suitors lining up for his services, but for now five schools are on top.

The past few weeks have been busy for Conestoga Valley (PA) quarterback Jordan Steffy, including a two-week, ten-school visiting period on which he still has stops remaining. Steffy took time out to speak on the schools, his favorites, and the future.

"Clemson and Virginia Tech certainly, Syracuse, Maryland, and Michigan State are some of my favorites right now, but that changes as I visit new schools. Before school starts I really want to limit my schools to five or maybe three schools for my official visits and see what happens from there."

Among the schools Steffy visited, Virginia Tech and Clemson stood out the most. "I really liked Virginia Tech when I visited them, because I liked their facilities and they have a great quarterbacks coach there.

"Clemson maybe has an advantage since I got to spend the Thursday through Sunday there. My coach was roommates with the Clemson soccer coach, and they were able to show us around the place, and it stood out."
