ATH Robert McDonald
5-11, 170, 4.6
Cypress Creek High School
Orlando, Florida

The 5-11, 170 pound prospect from Cypress Creek High School could play quarterback, receiver or defensive back at the collegiate level. Clemson is recruiting the prize recruit as a quarterback or receiver.

Nobody has offered a scholarship at this point, but that should change over the next few months as McDonald is receiving attention from Miami, Clemson, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, East Carolina, Georgia and Michigan State. "My top five is Miami, Clemson, Michigan State, Georgia and Syracuse," said McDonald.

Summer camp plans include the Miami Nike camp, Stetson, UCF and Georgia. McDonald expects to make his decision in the fall. "I plan to commit during the early to middle part of my senior season," stated McDonald.

What factors will influence his decision? "Education is the most important thing. I will look at the overall education program and the sports program. I would like to major in cartoon animation. Location will also be a factor."

McDonald was invited to visit Clemson for a game last season but he was unable to make the trip. The talented prospect looks forward to visiting Clemson in the future. "The education is very good at Clemson. The area is also nice and its not too far from home."

Qualifying will not be an issue for this talented prospect as he carries a 4.3 GPA into his senior season and he has already scored over 1100 on his SAT. We will continue to keep you posted on this outstanding athlete from the Orlando area, right up through signing day 2004.
