The three-star wide receiver, who's rated as the No. 96 player for his position in the class of 2013, also holds this year's top Nike SPARQ rating [122.88] among wide receivers.

"It means a whole lot to me. This is what I'm playing for in the offseason," Jenkins told CUTigers after Saturday's camp at Buford High School. "My main motivation is to go out there and prove to everybody that I'm one of the best receivers in the country."

In the last several days, he's has added two more offers to his list of Clemson, Missouri and Louisville. UCLA and Wake Forest have stepped forward.

Jenkins thinks No. 6 could be on the way from another California school.

"Actually, I think Southern California," he said.

USC Wide receivers coach Tee Martin has been in contact with Jenkins for the past month.

"They just started to come on, but I'm building a pretty good relationship with the receivers coach, Tee Martin," Jenkins said.

The rising senior has been on Clemson's campus several times this month. He spent spring break with his brother, junior cornerback Martin Jenkins and was back just days later for the spring game.

"It was great. I really got a chance to see what it's like to be a member of Clemson's football team. I even got to go to class with my brother," Ryan said. "It was, overall, a great experience. I had a lot of fun."

He'll be back on the road for visits later this summer. Then, he'll head to UCLA and Missouri.

Jenkins also plans to make his decision this summer.

"I want to commit at The Opening," he said.

As a junior at Milton High School, Jenkins had 25 catches for 415 yards and five touchdowns. He'll play his senior season at Lassiter High School. Top Stories
