One of the first stops during the spring evaluation period for Clemson defensive ends coach Marion Hobby was Eagles Landing Christian Academy in McDonough, Ga.

On Tuesday, he checked in on 2013 defensive end Isaac Rochell and 2014 defensive end Andrew Williams.

Williams recently had a conversation with Hobby.

"We were talking about the spring game. I didn't get to go, but me and my teammate watched it on TV We saw that he was the coach. We were just kidding around [about that], just catching up on a few things," Williams told CUTigers on Wednesday.

Several schools have already stopped by Eagles Landing this week, including Alabama, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Vanderbilt and Cincinnati.

Williams took only two visits this spring. He stopped by Clemson for the January Junior Day and Georgia Tech last Friday for the Yellow Jackets' spring game.

This summer, he plans to make several camp stops.

"I'm definitely taking a visit down to Clemson for the one-day camp. I'm going to Alabama, Georgia, FSU, UNC and Georgia Tech -- quite a bit," Williams said.

Clemson has offered Williams as a defensive end. Boston College, Florida State and Missouri have also offered.
