On location: Keenan Gilchrist

ABBEVILLE, S.C. - Under the radar linebacker Keenan Gilchrist has picked up two offers and is generating interest from several other schools.

The rising senior from Abbeville High School currently holds offers from Air Force and Furman.

"I'm still talking to Duke, Appalachian State, Kentucky and Coastal a little bit," Gilchrist recently told CUTigers at his school.

Gilchrist recently visited Clemson for Junior Day and the Tigers have evaluated him as an outside linebacker.

He currently claims no favorites.

"I'm trying to wait around until all the offers come in. I figure, after the summer camps, I think that's when they'll come in. I have no favorites now. I just want to enjoy the recruiting process and see how everything goes," Gilchrist said.

Plans for this summer camps have already been made.

"I'm going to Clemson, Kentucky, Duke and maybe Appalachian State or Furman," he said.

As a junior, he had 99 tackles, six sacks and two interceptions.

Abbeville head coach James Nickles is just as impressed by Gilchrist off the field.

"He's a tremendous kid, high character young man. He's already qualified, academically. I think the sky's the limit for him," Nickles said.
