S Quin Blanding Profile
Among the class of 2014 prospects he offered while in the state was Quin Blanding of Bayside High School in Virginia Beach.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound rising junior is still learning about the Tigers.
"I know Tajh Boyd grew up with my brother and sister, so I actually kind of know him a little bit. I don't really know much, but it's something I look forward to getting to know," Blanding told CUTigers earlier this week.
Along with Clemson, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Illinois are among the schools that have been by the school.
UConn, East Carolina, Illinois, Miami, North Carolina, N.C. State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Vanderbilt and the in-state schools have also offered.
Blanding would like to hit the road hard this summer.
"I plan on making trips to all the colleges, but as of right now, I don't know which dates and where yet," he said.
With no favorites to speak of right now, there is one major factor that will be under consideration as he continues through the process.
"The academics, just somewhere I know I can play football and get a good education," Blanding said.
As a sophomore, he had seven interceptions. Clemson has offered Blanding as a safety.
