DT Montravius Adams Profile
He'll have plenty of options. Just about every school in the country would welcome the Dooly County High School [Vienna, Ga.] junior with open arms.
"I know one of them -- I want to go to LSU. I want to go to Oregon and I want to go to USC," he told CUTigers earlier this week.
Because of the distance from home, Adams has not been able to travel to any of the three.
Clemson, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan State, Michigan, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, North Carolina, South Carolina, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCLA and USC have offered.
Several schools have already visited Dooly County, including Alabama, Auburn and North Carolina. Others are due next week, including Clemson.
The Tigers will be represented by defensive tackles coach Dan Brooks and offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell. Caldwell serves as Adams' primary recruiter. He and Brooks will watch Dooly County practice.
Adams and Caldwell remain in steady contact
"[We talk about] how I could help them out, what I'd be playing, where I'd get to play, all of that," Adams said.
At one point, he listed Clemson as No. 1 -- the Tigers offered several months before the rest jumped on board.
"I'm trying to give everybody else a chance," Adams said.
His decision could be announced next February on national signing day.
As a junior, Adams had 84 tackles, 45 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.
