OG Austin Droogsma Profile
On Saturday afternoon, the No. 28 offensive guard in the class of 2013 spoke with CUTigers for the latest.
"I've been out of town the last couple of days at the state track meet. From what I've heard, FSU has been by. FAU has been by. Mississippi State was by a couple of days ago. Alabama, Louisiana-Lafayette was by earlier in the week," he said.
Clemson is on the way.
"I've talked to coach [Chad] Morris and coach [Danny] Pearman and they've both said they'll be down the second or third week of spring [practice]," Droogsma said.
Kentucky is his most recent offer. Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech and South Florida have also offered.
"I guess, based off of offers, it would be Florida State and Clemson fighting for that No. 1 spot. It'd be hard to pick between one of those. I really can't pick right now. Then, I would say it's USF and Georgia Tech."
Droogsma has no plans for summer visits, but he does have one trip in mind.
"I definitely am going to try and get up to Clemson. We haven't really set the date yet. We're trying to work some other dates around that, to make it possible to get up there," he said.
