WR Braxton Berrios Profile
Earlier this year during the Charlotte SPARQ combine, Berrios posted a 3.90 20-yard shuttle, a 39.3-inch vertical jump, 37-foot power ball throw and 4.60 40-yard dash for a rating of 119.52. That rating was the top among participants in last Sunday's Nike Football Training Camp in Charlotte.
"It means a lot. There are some great athletes out here. To have the highest score out of all of them, it means a lot. There's some athleticism out here," he told CUTigers after Sunday's camp.
Recruiting interest is starting to pick up for the Leesville Road High School [Raleigh, N.C.] sophomore.
East Carolina, Minnesota, North Carolina and Wake Forest have offered.
Miami and Navy have stopped by the school. Clemson offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell is scheduled to make a stop through the school.
Berrios has never visited Clemson, he's heard good things.
"I like it. I heard it's a great town. Obviously, they have one of the best stadiums in the nation, so yeah, I like it," he said.
A trip could be in the works for this summer.
"I would like to. I know I'm going to Miami, South Carolina -- I just have to visit their summer days, but I would love to go down there," Berrios said.
As a sophomore, he had over 2,000 all-purpose yards and scored over 20 touchdowns.
