Earlier this week, one of the top running back prospects in Florida's 2014 class picked up an offer from his favorite school, Clemson.

Miami Central sophomore Dalvin Cook became a Clemson fan since C.J. Spiller began to light up opposing defenses in Death Valley.

Cook, who told CUTigers on Thursday that he plans on committing to Clemson, enjoyed watching the No. 28 in orange and white.

"I liked his running style and the way they used him," Cook said.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect continues to watch Clemson, even with Spiller now playing for the Buffalo Bills.

"They're trying build, so I think I can help them out with that. That's what I'm trying to do," Cook said.

He hopes to visit Clemson later this summer for the Dabo Swinney Football Camp. It would be Cook's first visit to Tigertown.

Auburn and Florida State are potential visit destinations for Cook and his Miami Central teammates.

As a sophomore, Cook had 90 carries for 900 yards and nine touchdowns. Top Stories
