Is Wayne Gallman solid to Clemson?

Late last week, Clemson running back commit Wayne Gallman told that he would visit other schools this summer.

On Monday afternoon, the four-star running back informed CUTigers that is no longer the case.

"I actually talked to coach [Dabo] Swinney and coach [Tony] Elliott the other day and they said I'm not supposed to do that…so I don't think I'm going to [visit other schools]," Gallman said.

Swinney translated what that would mean to the Clemson staff.

"He said it kind of in the way, it's like I'm married to the school. I'm divorced if I visit another school," Gallman said.

The rumors of Clemson's potential realignment to the Big 12 brought about the second thoughts Gallman was experiencing.

For now, the only school he plans to visit is Clemson.

The Tigers will host him, David Kamara and a few other Grayson High School [Loganville, Ga.] teammates at camp later this month.

"I think I'm going to participate a little bit," Gallman said.

He was in Clemson last summer for camp.

"It was fun. They always talk to me and have good conversations. Talking to the players, it's always fun. That was a good experience," Gallman said.

As a junior at Grayson, he rushed 103 times for 703 yards and eight touchdowns. Top Stories
