DT Montravius Adams Profile
The Dooley County [Ga.] senior stuck around town until Saturday, after lunchtime.
"I had a good visit," Adams told CUTigers on Saturday afternoon. "I really wanted to spend time with the players when I was there and see how they were. I spent most of the time with Sammy [Watkins]."
When Adams got to town, he was greeted by a pair of Clemson assistant coaches.
"I was talking to coach [Robbie] Caldwell and coach [Dan] Brooks for a while and they were telling me how things are at Clemson."
The five-star prospect also spent time with Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables.
"We watched film and talked. He's great guy. We got along pretty well," Adams said.
On Thursday, Adams watched the players workout at the practice fields.
"I watched them do their 1-on-1's and that kind of stuff," he said.
Adams has a few other visits in mind for later this summer.
"I want to go to Georgia and Auburn. And I might come back to Clemson on July 20th," he said.
As a junior, Adams had 84 tackles, 45 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.
