Decision day for Jenkins

Three-star wide receiver Ryan Jenkins will announce his commitment live tonight on ESPNU. He'll choose between Clemson and Oklahoma State.

The Tigers are the odds on favorite to land Jenkins, who's a senior at Lassiter High School in Marietta, Ga.

"I like the coaches at both schools and I really like the environment at Clemson too," Jenkins recently told Chad Simmons. "I have been around the [Clemson] coaches since eighth grade since they started recruiting my brother [Martin Jenkins], so I know them very well."

"I love how Oklahoma State throws the ball around in their offense. Justin Blackmon caught 122 balls there and I really liked that. I think they have the best facilities I have seen too."

Jenkins is among the participants at The Opening in Beaverton, Ore. He filled Simmons in on the details of his decision earlier this week.

"I made my decision about a week ago. I just sat down with my parents, talked about things, prayed about it, and figured out which school was best for me," Jenkins said.

He added, "Both are great schools, I like them both, and it was a tough decision. It feels good to have my mind made up and I am excited about letting everyone know."

As a junior at Milton High School, Jenkins had 25 catches for 415 yards and five touchdowns.
