"I'm going to FSU on the 19th and then I might be at Clemson on the 20th. I'll be going to their camps," Austin Droogsma said.
"I was at Mississippi State and Florida a couple weeks ago, back in June. Then I went to Clemson but I got sick while I was there and couldn't do the camp."
Droogsma, 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, talked about each of those four schools.
MSU – "I felt like I did good. I walked away with an offer so that was pretty cool. It's a great program with great coaches. They know what they're doing and it'd be great to be a part of."
Florida – "It was really good. Their offensive line coach is extremely intelligent, knows what he's talking about. He knows the finer things about your technique. It was a great experience. It was a great family atmosphere. I haven't gotten an offer from Florida yet."
"Florida State offered me the summer going into my Junior year. Them and Georgia Tech were the first to offer me. I love it, grew up following them. It's my dad's alma-mater. They're in my top three right now and it's going to be a tough decision. I love Coach Trickett. He's one of the best in the business. They have an incredibly stacked program coming in and they're coming up fast."
Clemson – "That's a great place, a great family atmosphere. Coach Swinney is an awesome guy. Coach Morris is one of the best recruiters I've ever met. Coach Caldwell is a cool uncle everyone has that you just love to be around. He can be your buddy and also crack down and be that hard nose guy when he needs to be."
The standout lineman, who also has offers from USF, Memphis, Louisville, and Kentucky, has a top three.
"My top three is FSU, Clemson, and Mississippi State. I'm not planning on committing anytime soon, like going to a camp and making a commitment. I've always thought it'd be cool to commit on TV so if I get selected for the Army All-American Game, I'll probably commit on TV."
Finally, he talked about what he'll be looking for in a school.
"I plan on majoring in some type of business, maybe try going for my MBA. As far as looking for a school, a good family atmosphere, a good coaching staff, and just the normal what you look for in a school. Clemson has that great family atmosphere. I love going there because I can hang out and just buddy around with the coaches. I can go to FSU and it's like a welcoming home party because I've been there so many times. It's just fun. Those two are in my top."
