Four-star running back Taquan Mizzell told FOXSportsNEXT last weekend he was nearing a list trimming, and that took place.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pounder from Bayside High (Virginia Beach, Va.) texted his top five schools. "Virginia, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Clemson and West Virginia," Mizzell said.
The only school previously not known is Notre Dame. Mizzell said last week Virginia, West Virginia, Clemson and "maybe Ohio State" would make the cut.
He added he still plans on committing before his senior season begins, but he is in the process of trying to organize trips. The only school of the five he has visited is Virginia.
Mizzell ran for more than 1,000 yards as a junior despite being injured for part of the season.
