Before the end of his Dabo Swinney Football Camp visit, this junior defensive tackle picked up his first offer.

Wayne County High School's [Jesup] Jeremy Patterson recently spoke to CUTigers about that offer.

"That was real good. I had a good time," said.

He added, "It meant a lot. It means if I keep working harder, I can get more offers," he said.

To date, it's his only one.

"It lets me know that if I keep doing what I'm doing, I can get more offers," Patterson said.

What stood out at Clemson?

"The weight room, field, everything."

He enjoyed working alongside defensive tackles coach Dan Brooks.

"He's a good person. He stays on you and lets you know that you can be good," Patterson said.

He'll make his second camp stop of the summer on Friday when he heads to Georgia for Dawg Night.

Patterson, who grew up watching Georgia football, hopes to pick up an offer while in Athens.

As a sophomore, he had 40 tackles and two sacks. Top Stories
