The offers for the 6-3, 190 pound prospect include Clemson, South Carolina, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Louisville and Wake Forest. He is also receiving interest from several SEC powers including Auburn, Georgia and LSU. "I haven't received any new offer in the past few weeks," said Brown. Brown is not ready to name a top 5 at this point.

The summer camp tour has already included stops at Clemson and South Carolina. "I plan to go to Georgia this week and then Auburn later in July," stated Brown.

Brown's strength is definitely his passing but he also uses his impressive 4.6 speed when necessary. "I throw the ball pretty good. I can run when I need to. In our offense all we do is throw. I also do a good job of reading the coverage."

The talented quarterback has been working hard this summer to continue to improve. "I've been lifting weights and running. I also have been spending a lot of time throwing. We begin practicing twice a day in a few weeks."

Coach Hines is recruiting Brown for the Tigers but he is very impressed with Coach O'Cain. "I spent all my time with Coach O'Cain at the Clemson camp. I like him a lot. He is a good coach."

The Tigers offense would be a great fit for this prize recruit. "I like the Clemson offense. They stay in the shotgun and I like that."

Don't expect and early commitment from Brown. "I don't want to sell myself short. I still want to take my visits but if I was to go on a visit and thought that was where I fit in then I might decide something then," said Brown.
