CB Ryan Carter Profile
The trip was Carter's first to Tigertown.
"It was pretty good. It was a little cookout. I got to meet the coaches. It was pretty good, it being my first time I went up there," Carter told CUTigers in a recent interview.
What stood out the most?
"I liked how everybody was embracing each other. It was very family-oriented."
The 5-foot-10, 165-pound prospect was informed where exactly he stands with Clemson, in regards to receiving an offer.
"The coaches told me they're still interested and told me they were going to keep evaluating me," he said. "They haven't made any decisions yet. They're still going to keep looking."
East Carolina, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Tulane and Arkansas State have offered.
Last Friday's trip to Clemson was the final campus visit he'll take this summer.
"I'm pretty much all Grayson for now," Carter said.
As a junior, he had 70 tackles and two interceptions.
Carter's has three current teammates currently committed to Clemson, including the No. 1 prospect in the country in Robert Nkemidiche, three-star running back Wayne Gallman and three-star cornerback David Kamara.
