"We are weight training and conditioning now, and we start two-a-days August 4th," says the 6-foot-5, 281 pounder. "I guess I am ready for it, because the sooner we start the sooner the season gets here. Our first scrimmage is the 15th of August against three teams."

While Holland is preparing for the season, he says that things have not changed much in recruiting.

"Not really. I have an offer from Clemson, one from Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia Tech. I am also seeing some interest start from Texas A&M and also Vanderbilt."

With plenty of teams interested, Holland admits that he still has a pretty solid leader at the moment. "Tech is the leader right now. That is the school showing the most interest, and I talk to Coach Rogers a lot."

Could a decision be looming for the Hokies?

"All I know is that I want to commit before the season starts. That is the plan, but what I don't know is who all really becomes interested before then."
