Florida WR interested in Clemson

One of Florida's top 2014 wide receivers has over 10 offers to his name. Although Clemson isn't among them, there's plenty of interest.

WR Artavious Scott Profile

East Lake High School [Tarpon Springs] junior wide receiver Artavious Scott is up to 11 offers. Included in that group are Florida, Florida State, South Carolina and Ohio State.

This summer, Scott visited UCF, Florida State and Notre Dame.

Clemson remains in contact. Running backs coach Tony Elliott stopped by East Lake during the May evaluation period.

"He's interested in me and wanted me to come up there for their camp," Scott said in a recent interview with CUTIgers.

Though he did not make the trip up to Tigertown, Scott remains interested in Clemson.

"Just their facilities and how they play. The coaches they have there seem pretty cool," he said.

Scott added, "Everything is going good for them right now. They're playing good ball, recruiting well, looking better as the years go on."

Several factors will be considered as he looks to find a school that's the right fit.

"Academics, nice facilities, is it fun up there and how do I see myself fitting in," he said.

Scott had 54 receptions for 1,158 yards as a sophomore.
