The Tucker High School [Georgia] three-star prospect will hit Clemson, Notre Dame and Oregon.
"I'm going to take my official to Notre Dame the 22nd of September. Then I go to Oregon the seventh of October. Then I go to Clemson the 20th of October," Williams recently told CUTigers.
Florida State and Vanderbilt will get the other two officials, rounding out the final five schools he's considering.
At Clemson he hopes to see "the school and atmosphere around campus.
Williams visited Clemson earlier this summer during the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.
"When I went up there the first-time, I really didn't have anything to see. I hung out with the coaches and players," he said. "I'm just going up there open-minded about the whole Clemson experience."
The Tigers are the only school to recruit him as a defensive back. The other four like Williams as a wide receiver.
"I prefer receiver, but coach [Charlie Harbison] and coach [Marion] Hobby told me I would catch more balls at corner than receiver," he said.
A decision will be made after the five officials are taken.
"I'm going to give myself a little time to think over everything I've seen and take into consideration all five colleges," Williams said.
Besides playing on the offensive side of the ball, he'll consider other factors.
"Overall, the campus atmosphere and how I feel when I'm there, my relationships with the coaching staff, the head coach and, of course, the recruiting coach," Williams said.
For now, he has no order of favorites.
Williams rushed for 600 yards and 11 touchdowns as Tucker's quarterback during his junior season.
