CB Quinton Brown
5-11, 175, 4.45
Fredrick Douglas High School
Upper Marlboro, Maryland
The talented athlete was the starting quarterback for Fredrick Douglas High School last season, but he also played defensive back and kickoff returner. Coach Lovett is recruiting the 5-11, 175 pound prospect as a defensive back for the Tigers.
"I'm heading down to Clemson right now. We are scheduled to start at 8:45 in the morning. I'm looking forward to touring the campus tomorrow."
Brown and his mother will be spending a great deal of time in the car over the next few days as he plans to visit West Virginia after visiting Clemson. The weekend visits will be very important as the prize recruit expects to make a commitment before his season starts on August 18.
Brown currently has offers from Clemson, Syracuse, Kent State, Delaware, and Rhode Island but expects that list to increase as West Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina and Richmond are all showing interest.
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding athlete from Maryland, right up through signing day 2004.
