Clemson Commit Looking Around

2013 defensive end Elijah Daniel committed to Clemson during the summer. While he remains verbally committed to the Tigers, he plans on taking several visits this fall. Daniel took in Indiana last weekend and will head to Marshall this coming weekend. Get the latest here.

The Clemson commitment was on hand for the Indiana season opener against Indiana State Saturday.

"It was pretty good, I talked to the coaches and players and stuff," Elijah Daniel said.

"They were just stressing the fact that they need me and wanted me there, the head coach said he was going to be at my game next Friday."

While Daniel plans to see several other schools this fall, he says he is still committed to Clemson for now.

"Right now I'm committed to Clemson. I'm kind of still looking at some schools, but right now I'm committed to Clemson," he said.

"(I'm looking at) Marshall, Florida, Ole Miss, some of those schools. Maybe Miami."

Daniel is taking an official visit to Marshall this weekend for the Western Carolina match-up. His brother, Armonze Daniel, is a red shirt freshman for the Thundering Herd, so Daniel is quite familiar with the Marshall program.

"I'm really looking for just getting out there and seeing Coach Wade and the d-line coach and getting to see my brother and just having a really good time," he said.

Daniel also hopes to make it to Florida for the LSU game on October 6th, but those plans are still in the works. Top Stories
