Alabama QB Still Favoring Clemson?

John Parker Wilson continues to receive attention from the top football programs in the South but the Clemson Tigers remain at the top of his list. caught up with the outstanding gunslinger from Alabama tonight and we've got the latest on his plans to take an unofficial visit to Clemson.

The 6-3, 180 pound star quarterback threw for 2,634 yards and 27 touchdowns as a junior. A strong arm is not the only strength for the star quarterback as he also runs a very impressive 4.5 forty.

Wilson is not sure about a commitment timeframe. "I don't know. I am planning on going up to take an unofficial visit later this month. I will be going up to North Carolina for a baseball game and I thought I would stop by Clemson." Getting the talented on campus this month could be just what the Tigers need to add another outstanding quarterback commitment.

Clemson remains the school to beat for the services of the Hoover High School quarterback, and the Tigers' coaching staff is a major reason.

"My high school coach has a very good relationship with Coach Bowden. I have also known Coach Swinney for a long time. He came and spoke to a banquet when I was in the sixth grade."
