Elijah Daniel talks Marshall OV

Clemson defensive end commit Elijah Daniel has made it clear he's taking his visits and looking around.

The 2013 Avon High School (Avon, IN) standout took an official visit to Marshall last weekend to explore the program and see his brother, a redshirt freshman at Marshall.

Elijah Daniel said his visit to Marshall was a lot of fun and it was especially great to hang out with his brother, Armonze Daniel.

"It was pretty good, I really enjoyed it," he said.

"I did a lot of fun things, hang out with the players and coaches, see the campus, a bunch of great stuff, hang out with my brother and stuff."

While Daniel says he and his brother are very close, his brother isn't really trying to recruit him to Marshall. The Marshall coaches are a different story.

"(My brother is) just trying to get me to stay on top of my grades and go where I want to go and just support me in every way," he said.

"(The coaches say) they need me, they need some pass rushers and they think I can come in and contribute and be a really good player for them."

For now, Daniel insists he's sticking with Clemson.

"I'm still committed. They stand pretty strong right now," he said.

Moving forward, Daniel plans to take a few more official visits.

"I was planning to take a visit down to Florida or Miami pretty soon," he said.

Ole Miss is also in the mix to land Daniel for an official. On Daniel's calendar right now is a visit to Gainesville on October 6th when the Gators welcome LSU.
