Georgia tackle visits Clemson

Georgia is always loaded with talented defensive linemen and the class of 2014 is no exception. One of those prospects visited Clemson earlier this fall.

DT Johnny Dwight Profile

Clemson hosted Wilcox County High School [Rochelle, Ga.] junior defensive tackle Johnny Dwight for the Ball State game.

"It was great. Everything was good. I really liked it. I got to go into the locker room after the game with the players -- that was good," he recently told CUTigers.

The 6-foot-3, 285-pound prospect also liked what he saw on the field.

"I liked everything. I liked the way the defense played, the points that they put up. Everything was good," Dwight said.

While in town, he spoke with recruiter of note, offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell.

"He was asking me how everything was going, stuff like that. He told me, anytime I want to come up to just give him a call," Dwight said.

North Carolina hosted Dwight for a visit this past weekend. After the trip, his high school teammate, Johnathan Howard, committed to the Tar Heels. Dwight hopes to make it to Alabama for a visit this fall.

His bench presses 305 pounds and squats 340. Top Stories
