DT Shy Tuttle Profile
Get to know Shy Tuttle, because he's about to become one of the hottest commodities in the Carolinas.
The 6-foot-2, 285-pound defensive tackle has already visited several schools, including Clemson, Alabama, N.C. State and Wake Forest.
He camped at Clemson earlier this summer. There, he worked with defensive tackles coach Dan Brooks.
"He was pretty cool. I like him a lot. He came to visit me a couple of weeks ago to watch me play," Tuttle said in a recent interview with CUTigers.
A sophomore at North Davidson High School [Lexington, N.C.], Tuttle has already picked up offers from Clemson, North Carolina and Wake Forest. He's visited Wake Forest twice this fall and will head to North Carolina this weekend.
What stands out about Clemson?
"Every game is sold out. The crowd is a big part of it. That's what I like about. The fans get into it."
Tuttle also shared his thoughts on Wake Forest.
"It's local and my family could come to the games and watch me play. It's a great academic school, too."
