The Atlantic Coast Conference has signed a deal that will put a 6th team with the Humanitarian Bowl in Boise, Idaho. The bowl game will match the 6th team from the ACC with a team from the WAC conference- most likely the champion.

The Humanitarian Bowl becomes the 6th agreement currently set in stone for the Atlantic Coast Conference during the postseason.

The current pecking order for the postseason looks like this:

1. BCS (Orange, Fiesta, Sugar, or Rose Bowl)
2. Gator Bowl
3. Peach Bowl
4. Tangerine Bowl
5. Continental Tire Bowl
6. Humanitarian Bowl

The agreement signed with the Humanitarian Bowl spans two years. The game itself will actually be played on January 3rd, 2004.
