While the Scout National 300 member considers himself committed to Clemson, he had not closed the door on other programs.

"I feel like I had a pretty good year," said Daniel. "I had between 70 and 80 tackles, about forty quarterback hurries and eleven sacks.

"We got put out of the playoffs the weekend before last, but I feel like we had a good season. I wish we could have kept going."

With his calendar now clear, Daniel is researching his college options.

"I am taking an official visit to Mississippi State this weekend," said Daniel. "I like the coaching staff there and I like how they get people to the league.

"They recruited my two brothers, so I have a comfort level with them too."

Several other programs are interested in hosting Daniel as a visitor, but so far he has not set any other visits including a possible trip to Clemson.

"I am still committed to Clemson, but I just want to see what some other schools have to offer too," said Daniel. "I probably won't make a final decision until January or something like that."
