CB David Kamara Profile
On Tuesday afternoon in the weekly What We Are Hearing feature, CUTigers reported that the Clemson coaching staff no longer had Kamara down as a committed member of the 2013 class.
The No. 87 cornerback in the class of 2013 communicated with CUTigers on Tuesday night and confirmed that he had indeed decommitted from Clemson.
"I just want to take my visits and make sure that I was making the right decision," Kamara said.
With offers also from Ole Miss and Mississippi State, he said Clemson will remain in the running for his signature.
Ole Miss hosted Kamara for an unofficial visit over the weekend. He was in Oxford with high school teammate Robert Nkemdiche, another former Clemson commitment.
So far this season, Kamara has over 30 tackles, two blocked field goals and an interception.
As a junior, he had 53 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles.
