In town from Hargrave Military Academy, the 2012 Clemson signee was joined by Shaquille Lawson.

"I had a great time, me and Shaq Lawson and our families, a great time. It was good to get back on campus," Tankersley told CUTigers.

He added, "We just kind of hung out with the team a little bit. Hung out with our hosts, at dinner with the team -- we chilled out with the coaches and stuff, had a good time."

What was the message from the coaches?

"How they're ready for us to get up there, stay focused at Hargrave and they're just looking forward to us getting up there," Tankersley said. "They see we're doing well, they look at our grades when they go up there [to Hargrave]."

Hosted by Ronald Geohaghan over the weekend, Tankersley detailed what he has to wrap up at Hargrave.

"I've got to finish up in these classes. I'm doing good in all my classes. I have all A's, right now. And, get about three or four more points on my test scores," he said.

Tankersley will visit Clemson again on Saturday before heading back to Hargrave.

This season at Hargrave, he had 36 tackles, two interceptions, a pick-6 and eight pass breakups. On the offensive side of the ball, Tankersley caught 30 passes for 269 yards and four touchdowns.
