Back-to-back weekends in Clemson

Montravius Adams, the No. 1 defensive tackles in the class of 2013, visited Clemson for the second weekend in a row.

Last Saturday, Adams witnessed a Clemson win over N.C. State. He was back seven days later for the Tigers' showdown with rival South Carolina.

"It was a good trip," he told CUTigers on Sunday morning.

He added, "I got to hang out with some of the recruits, hang out with the coaches and the players."

The five-star defensive tackle was impressed with the atmosphere in Death Valley on Saturday night.

"It was good, really crazy," he said.

Adams spent much of his time with a pair of highly sought after defensive ends, Carl Lawson and Ebenezer Ogundeko.

All of the Clemson coaches, Adams said, spoke with him.

"Besides the playing time, just coming back up for the official visit, they want me to come back up on January the 12th," he said.

It's still up in the air if Adams will take an official visit to Clemson, whether it's that weekend or any other weekend. LSU, Oregon and Southern Cal are "probably" going to receive official visits. Adams has yet to nail down any dates for official visits.

His list of offers will be broken down soon.

"I'm going to do it after my season," Adams said.

After a 19-8 win over Turner County in the first-round of the GHSA class A playoffs, Dooly County High School is set to take on Seminole County on Friday.

So far this season, Adams has over 100 tackles, 4.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. He's also punted five times for 131 yards. Top Stories
