All-American quarterback, ACC Player of the Year and ACC Offensive Player of the Year -- for Boyd, it has a nice ring to it.
"It's probably one of my most memorable moments in my 22 years," Boyd said on Wednesday afternoon.
The redshirt junior quarterback certainly created plenty of memorable moments for Clemson fans this season.
Boyd completed 251 of 377 passes for 3,550 yards with 34 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He also rushed for 492 yards and nine touchdowns.
On Wednesday, Boyd and center Dalton Freeman were named to the American Football Coaches Association All-American team.
"It all starts with me, but he's the one pulling the trigger," Freeman said. "You look at where we were three or four years ago, to where we are now, quarterback play has a lot to do with that.
"Coach Morris and his system, the way Tajh just attacked it from day one, learning last year and really just being explosive this year with it, we wouldn't be where we are today without him."
In overall ACC Player of the Year voting, Boyd picked up 20 votes to Giovani Bernard's 19. In the conference's Offensive Player of the Year voting Boyd beat Bernard by a 22-21 margin.
"I just think it's great that we can try to represent Clemson University in the best way possible," Boyd said. "Anyway we can do that, from a national standpoint, anytime you can add Clemson to the name of anything I think it's great for this program. I'm just excited about representing it."
If Boyd elects play out his final season of eligibility, a Heisman Trophy campaign is likely to be a part of his return.
But that potential Heisman campaign won't necessarily draw him back to Clemson. A few other factors will be considered by Boyd, who plans to submit paperwork to the NFL Draft advisory board.
"For me, it's all about, I guess, ultimately, just doing what's best for me and my family," he said. "Coming into this program, I had aspirations of winning a national championship here. I feel like this team has an opportunity to do that.
"All of that stuff will start to weigh into things."
