It was the second trip to Tigertown for the Carver High School [Montgomery] junior.

"I really enjoyed it. My parents did also. The environment on game day and seeing how their fans were, I really enjoyed it. Their fans were really rowdy," Hamilton recently told CUTigers.

A three-star prospect, according to, Hamilton previously made a trip to Clemson over the summer.

While in town for the game, he spoke with Dabo Swinney, Brent Venables and Marion Hobby.

"They want me. They said that I could have the chance to play early if I go up there," Hamilton said.

The No. 16 ranked middle linebacker in the country, Hamilton also visited Auburn, Alabama and Florida this past season.

He holds 15 offers, including Clemson, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss and Miami.

Hamilton has no lists of favorites.

"After, probably, the bowl season, at the beginning of next year, I'll probably narrow it down," he said.

A few factors will be considered.

"The coaching staff and playing time," he said.

As a junior, Hamilton finished with 101 tackles, 23 tackles for loss and four sacks. Top Stories
