He will visit Florida and that will kick-start a very busy January for him and his mom.
Montravius Adams has visited schools unofficially for over a year and he has been to numerous campuses two and three times.
Now it is time for the real visits to start.
"I am going to leave the Under Armour All-America game Friday and take an official visit to Florida. Then I visit Clemson the next weekend, then Alabama, and then Georgia. I am going to try and squeeze in one more official visit too," Adams told Scout.
His mother will accompany him on these visits and he wants to hear her thoughts on each school.
"I have seen these schools a lot and I know just about everything I need to know about them, so I just want to see how my mom likes them. She has been to a few schools with me, but she will get more time with the coaches this time, so that will be good."
Some feel Clemson could have the lead as we enter 2013, so what does Adams say about that?
"Clemson is a great school and I like them, but I don't have a leader.
"I am going to narrow my list down in a few days and I plan to announce that on January 14, but I am still not going to name a leader."
The official visits will take place, the narrowing of the list, and the decision could be made in January, but he will not announce his decision until February.
"I will be committing on Signing Day," he said. "My mom is going to help me out with my decision, but I will be the one making the call.
"I will go to the schools where I feel at home."
Adams is the No. 1 defensive tackle on Scout.
