Adams, who's ranked by as the No. 3 defensive tackle in the country, recently wrapped up his official visit to Clemson.

"I learned how the players get along with the coaches, and how they like them," he said, during the show. "They're just a family-based school. My momma, she even liked the coaches and everybody."

Official visit No. 1 was to Florida.

"I just love everybody there. Coach [Will] Muschamp, he's a defensive-minded coach. I know that'll help me out," Adams said.

Along with Clemson and Florida, three other schools are currently under consideration -- Georgia, Alabama and Auburn. Southern Cal is also in the mix.

Although Adams will be making the decicison, his mom will play a role in helping him reach it.

"She's my momma and she doesn't know a lot about football, but she does know a lot about good people," he said. "So that's why I'm going to listen to my momma.

"She's been raising me all my life and she's been keeping me away from bad people, so I know she's going to do the right thing about going to college."

Of the two schools Adams' mother has visited, two stand out.

"She liked all of them, but I think Clemson and Georgia stood out a little bit more," he said.

Aside from the football aspect of his decision, Adams is looking for a few factors to help him with the decision.

"Getting a good bond with the coaches and players, who I'm going to be with for four years," he said. "Mostly, getting my degree in Management -- Business Management or Marketing, and having a minor in Communications." Top Stories
