DE Mekhi Brown Profile
Up next in the pipeline is Mekhi Brown, a 2015 defensive end prospect who just picked up an offer from Clemson.
"They finally offered me. That felt real good. The head coach offered me," Brown recently told CUTigers.
The 6-foot-6, 230-pound prospect was informed of the offer by his head coach Dell McGee, who heard from Dabo Swinney.
It was an offer that Brown really wanted.
"I've visited them four or five times. I love their campus and facilities, everything like that," he said.
Brown now has over 10 offers, including Florida, Florida State, Tennessee and North Carolina.
"I'm still wide open."
Several factors will be considered as he moves further along through the recruiting process.
"Academics and, really, a family-type school. How they treat people. Do they treat the walk-ons different or do they treat everybody the same way," Brown said.
Along with Clemson, Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, North Carolina and Duke have already hosted Brown for visits. He hopes to see Florida and Florida State this spring.
Brown finished his sophomore season with 50 tackles, nine sacks and four forced fumbles.
