Louisiana WR lists Clemson offer

Last week, this four-star wide receiver prospect from Louisiana picked up an offer from Clemson.

WR Trey Quinn Profile

The offer went to Barbe High School [Lake Charles] junior Trey Quinn, who caught 111 passes for 2,094 yards and 26 touchdowns this past season.

"We haven't been in contact a lot. The first time we talked was last night. We talked for a good while. I learned a lot about it. They were just like, we want to offer you," Quinn told CUTigers last Wednesday.

Clemson's offer caught the No. 17 wide receiver in the class of 2014 off guard.

"It's sort of an explosive offense. Any receiver would love to play in that," he said.

Quinn's offer sheet is up to six, which includes Duke, Houston, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

Who leads?

"It's way too early. I look at all six of those offers equally. They've shown interest in me and I'm interested in all six," he said.

Several factors will be considered as he moves further along through the recruiting process.

"I want good academics with me being able to strive to the best of my ability in school and on the field," Quinn said. "Getting a good education is going to be [important]. Where can I play quickest? Where can I contribute? Where can I compete? All of that."
