Alexander picked Clemson over Mississippi State and Auburn.

"My four years will be at the University of Clemson," he announced on ESPNU Wednesday morning.

ESPN analyst Rece Davis asked, 'Why Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers?'

"Dabo Swinney, he's just a good guy. He's a church guy like me. He made it from the bottom to the top. That staff, coach [Brent] Venables, coach [Mike] Reed, I trust them guys.

"I'm going to be in a great position. All those guys are talking about the SEC right now. It is what it is. We're No. 4 in the country.

"We're going to win the national title."

The four-star standout also visited Texas A&M officially.

Alexander's acquisition fills a major need for an elite-level corner in Clemson's 2013 recruiting class. Top Stories
