This 6-foot-6, 270-pound three-star prospect from Atlanta recently picked up an offer from Clemson.

ATH Kendall Baker Profile

Clemson offered Marist School junior Kendall Baker as a defensive lineman.

Defensive ends coach Marion Hobby had been in touch with Baker prior to the offer.

"It was on the Internet," Baker told CUTigers in a recent interview. "But coach Hobby was talking like he was going to give it to me, just wasn't sure about it."

The offer was one that he'd hoped to receive.

"I was happy about it, because they're going to be one of my contenders when I make my top five. I want to get there for a visit soon," Baker said.

What stands out about Clemson?

"Coach Hobby, the way he talks to me. We talk a lot. He's a real cool guy. I want to get down there, go down there for a visit."
