TE Jeb Blazevich Profile
Blazevich, a three-star prospect from Charlotte Christian School, visited Clemson earlier this month for the first Junior Day of the year.
"It was great. I really liked it," he told CUTigers in a recent interview.
"I talked with coach [Danny] Pearman a lot through the day. We were pretty much talking to him the whole time. Coach [Dabo] Swinney, a little bit at lunch, we talked with him for a little bit."
What was the message from Pearman?
"Pretty much the numbers that their offense has been putting up," Blazevich said. "He was just talking about how productive the tight ends have been…it was like, wow."
Blazevich will head up to Notre Dame on March 23. He'll hit a few other schools this spring to watch practice.
His deadline to make a decision is June 1.
"I know that I'll be able to enjoy my senior summer. It's my last summer before I go to work pretty much," Blazevich said. "Also, I feel like if I commit early, I'll be able to get down and see the campus a lot more, get comfortable with the coaching staff and I won't have everything up in the air still."
Which schools are currently under consideration?
"I have about six favorites. Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Alabama and Notre Dame," he said, noting that the list was in no particular order.
Several factors will be considered.
"Pretty much just how successful can I be there? More importantly, how I feel like I need to be there. It's no secret that I believe in God. Pretty much, the biggest thing I'm going to be praying, to see where I need to be and where God's calling me to be."
As a junior, Blazevich caught 30 passes for 379 yards with five touchdowns.
