He grew up in Georgia, lives in North Carolina, and has Florida State sitting No. 1 on his list.
Defensive end Kentavius Street of Greenville (N.C.) Junius H. Rose recently picked up his 13th and 14th offers from Florida State and Notre Dame.
"I'm getting used to offers rolling in, so I wasn't too surprised when Notre Dame offered," Street said. "Notre Dame is a very nice school, and they have great tradition. I don't know too much about them, honestly, but I want to research it more and get to know the coaches better. They got to the national championship last year, so that right there makes me want to learn more about them."
Street said he had been engaging in conversation with the staff at Notre Dame via Facebook, and that's how he knew the Irish were interested.
"After we talked on Facebook, they [Notre Dame coaches] came and visited my high school," he said. "I thought they were getting serious about offering me after that. They are telling me they want to bring in a really nice defensive line class this year, and they want me to be a part of it."
Before Florida State offered the 6-foot-4, 260-pound prospect, Virginia Tech and Clemson were at the top of Street's list. Now, the Seminoles have taken control of that top spot.
"After Florida State offered last week, they became my No. 1," Street said. "My dad and I grew up pulling for the Seminoles and it's been a childhood dream to play for them. Virginia Tech and Clemson are right behind Florida State now."
What does he like about the ACC's Virginia Tech Hokies and Clemson Tigers?
Virginia Tech: "They have such a family atmosphere and it's full of great people. I really love it up there. I'll probably get up there this summer."
Clemson: "It is great all-around. They had a great season last year and just the environment there is hard not to like. I'm visiting there again March 9."
Street says he'll be in Tallahassee, Fla. for the Seminoles' first day of spring practice. Could a commitment come as early as that visit?
"I am going to make my decision next year on national signing day," Street said. "I want to wait and see what other offers I get. I would like to get offers from Georgia, Florida and Alabama. I want to talk to more coaches and keep learning more about different schools."
Street has new No. 1
