Looking ahead to 2014: MLB

With the addition of Ben Boulware in the 2013 haul, the Clemson coaches plan to add another middle linebacker in 2014.

Atop the Tigers' wish list is four-star Raekwon McMillan, the No. 2 ranked middle linebacker in the country, according to Scout.com. The Liberty County High School [Hinesville, Ga.] prospect visited Clemson earlier this month for the first Junior Day of the year in Tigertown.

After the trip, McMillan told CUTigers that he will reshuffle his top-five later this spring. Among the schools currently under consideration are Clemson, Ohio State and Alabama. A decision will be announced at the Under Armour game.

Shaun Hamilton, another visitor for the February Junior Day, also holds Clemson in high regard. The Carver High School [Montgomery, Ala.] junior includes Clemson, Auburn, Florida, South Carolina, UCLA and Miami among his favorites. He plans to make a decision before the start of his senior season.

A three-star prospect, Hamilton is listed by Scout.com as the No. 16 ranked middle linebacker in the class of 2014.

From the same school that sent Sammy Watkins and Jayron Kearse to Clemson, D'Ronzjiah Mathews claims an offer from Clemson. The South Fort Myers High School junior is a three-star prospect and ranked as the No. 10 middle linebacker in the nation.

Matthews also has offers from Miami, South Carolina and South Florida.

Clemson recently offered four-star Clifton Garrett, the nation's No. 3 ranked middle linebacker. LSU, Ohio State, Florida and Ole Miss, reportedly, make up Garrett's list of favorites.
