CLEMSON - Of the 61 points Clemson scored on Tuesday night, 48 were from players who won't be back next season.

Seniors Devin Booker and Milton Jennings had 19 and 18, respectively.

"I think Book has pretty much played like tonight almost every night," Brad Brownell said. "I think Milt's had some nights where he hasn't shot it as well, but I thought he did a better job of finishing some plays around the basket."

Damarcus Harrison, a sophomore, will begin his two-year mission with the Church of Latter Day Saints after the school year ends. He had 11 in the 68-61 loss.

"He scored it better, which was good to see…I thought he was aggressive," Brownell said.

Third game without K.J. McDaniels…

"We missed K.J. a little bit, just because we don't have another wing shooter, another scorer." - Brownell

"It just hurts. Sometimes, he comes across gets a block, gets a few rebounds, hits in a few 3s. Just the pure athleticism and his length out there, it's just killing not having him." - Jennings

"With K.J. hurt, even now these last three games, we can't go small." - Brownell

More from the head coach…

"We didn't make enough 3s again. We haven't shot the ball from 3 well the last three games. Offensively, besides that, I thought our efficiency was pretty good." - Brownell

"Defensively, we had a hard time guarding them in the second half. I thought they did a better job of attacking. I thought we got whistled for a few fouls that probably got our guys a little tentative. I thought some of the free-throws gave them some confidence. That, combined with some missed layups and some missed 3-point shots that you've got to make when teams are packing it in, that makes for a long night." - Brownell
